VI.
Other Assurances
For the efficient and effective implementation of the Project the
Borrower shall:
1.
Ensure that the components of the existing

mixed farming
project which deals with sheep and. goats, shall be amalgamated
with the Pro ject, along with the associated staff, logist ical
and other material support currently deployed
ίπ
the afore–
mentioned project.
2.
F ollowing the Government's commitment, as stated
ίπ
the
4th Emergency Economic Action Plan (1982-1986), to prepare
a comprehensive study
οπ
grain subsidies, the Borrower shall
undertake the said study with a view to minimising the negative
effects of such subsidies
οπ
resource allocation, and encouraging
those structural changes that are necessary
ίπ
the
lίvestock
subsector, as well as reducing where possible the fi scal burden.
The Borrower shall submit the study to the Fund for its corn–
ments.
3.
Εηsure
that a11 relevant extension staff shall, during the first
three months of the Project, be fully infor,med of the nature
and objectives of the Project.
4.
Based

the findings and recommendations of the Halloumi
cheese content testing methods and standards consultancy
referred to
ίπ

hereof, the Borrower shall take

decontrol the price of Halloumi cheese

SuppJementary Arrangements

and the Fund may agree
