Occasiona1 passenger transport operations
(1)
Α
carrier of one ContraClting Party shall
be permitted to use a passenger vehicle in ,the
terήtοry
of the other Contraoting Party for the
following intemational
ρassenger
transp<>rt
oρera­
tions without being required ·to be licensed for
that purpose
ίη
accordance with the laws of that
other Contracting Party:
(a) "closed-door tours": that is, services to or
,through the territory
οί
the other Contract–
ing Party
οη
which a passenger vehicle
enters and leaves that ·territory without any
passengers being picked
υρ
or
set
down
in
that territory;
(b)
"inward services": that is, services
οη
which
a group of passengers is brought by a
carrier of one Contracting Party into the
territory of the
σther
Contracting Party
for
a
temporary stay and the passenger
vehicle leaves that territory empty;
(c) ''outward services":

is, services
οη
which a carrier of one Contracting Party
uses a passenger vehicle to enter the terri–
tory of the other Contracting Party empty
and

to the territory in which the
carήer
is

a group of passengers
each of whom:

ARTICLE 6
Other passenger transport operations
Such part of any internationaI passenger
transport operation (other than one of those re–
ferred to

this Agreement)

the terntory of the other Contracting
Party sha11

subject to licensing

accordance

regulations

GOODS TRANSPORT
ARTICLE 7
Requireιnents
as to
peιmits
(1) Except as provided in Artic)e 8
of
this
Agreement a

shall require a

order to engage

the
international caniage of goods by road
to

from theterritory

the other Contracting
Paιty
or
ίο
transit through that
teπitory.
Such
permits
shall
be
delivered:
(a) to carriers

Cyprus by the competent

the
Republic of Cypros or by any other autho–
rity

the Republic
of
Cyprus entrusted
with
that function;
(b) to carriers

authοήtΥ ίη
the Czechoslovak
Socia1ίst
Republic

by any other authority
in
the
Czechoslovak:
Socίalist
Republic entrusted
with that function.

ARTICLE 8
Exemptions from requirements asto

The

damaged vehicles;
(b)
carriage of works of art;
(c) occasional carriage

articles and

ment exclusively

publicity

(d) carriage of properties, equipment or
ani·
mals to

from
theatrίcal,
musica1.
cinematograph or circus performances or
sporting events, exhibitions or fairs or to
or fromthe making of radio or televisioo
Ibroadcasts

fiIms;
(e) carriage of goods for fairs and exhibitions;
(ί)
carriage of corpses;
(g)
carriage of mails;
(h)
carήage
of household
effects
by under·
takings having specialised personnel
and
equipment;
(ί)
carriage of goods

motor goods vehicles
the laden weight of which (including any
. tra!ler) does

of goods to and from

Retum Ioads
(1)

carrier of one Contracting Party,

delivered goods

Contracting Party, shall

permitted to

goods there for

as a retum load.
(2)

carrier of ooe Contracting Party sbaU
be permitted, subject to the
proviSΊons

para–
graph (3) of this Article, to cause an
empty
goods vehicleto enter the
teπitory
of the other
Contracting Party for the purpose of
accepting
goods for carriage.
