2. Applications to attend these examinations should
be made to the Establishment Secretary not later
than the 16th June, i960.
3. Books may be used for the examinations in
Colonial Regulations and General Orders. For the
examination in the Financial Sections of Colonial
Regulations, Stores Regulations and Financial
Instructions candidates may use the books of Colonial
Regulations and Stores Regulations but not the book
of Financial Instructions. Candidates should bring

Examination in Specified Laws for Adminis–
trative Assistants, 3rd and 2nd Grades.
1. The examination in Specified Laws laid down
for Administrative Assistants, 3rd and 2nd Grades,
will be held in the Establishment Secretary's Office
on Monday the 6th June, i960, at 8.30 a.m.
2. Applications to attend this examination should
be made to the Establishment Secretary not later
than the 24th May, i960.
3. As the use of books will be allowed in answering
one of the two papers of the examination, candidates
should bring their own books with them.

It is hereby notified that His Excellency the
Governor has been pleased to appoint the following
persons to constitute a Tribunal under section 3 (2)
{c) of the Trade Disputes (Conciliation, Arbitration
and Inquiry) Law (Cap. 171) for the purpose of
settling a dispute between the Water Board of
Famagusta and its Employees concerning the latter's
remuneration and conditions of employment : —

In exercise of the powers vested in me by Regula–
tion 3 {i)(b) of the Government Lotteries Regulations,
I hereby direct that the holding of the lottery due
in the month of May, 1960, in respect of which
no tickets have been issued, shall not be held.
