(2) In the case of an X-Ray examination not being one of those appearing in
sub-section (1) of this section, the fee will be fixed by the Radiologist in relation to the
number offilmsused and the nature of the examination.

* FEES FOR BACTERIOLOGICAL AND PATHOLOGICAL
INVESTIGATIONS.
For investigations performed for private persons in the Government Pathological
Laboratory:—
Pus exudates urine faeces, etc., examination by culture ..
Blood culture ..
Complete blood count
Blood count (cells only)
Biochemical examination of blood (urea, sugar, etc.) each substance
Routine test of urine -
Routine test of urine with estimations or culture
Preparation of autogenous vaccine
Histological examination of tissues
Microscopical examination only, e.g. driedfilms,faeces for ova, etc.
Wassermann reaction or Kahn test ..
...
Bacteriological examination of water or mill* .. ..

A n y other investigation in proportion.
Subject to the approval of the Director of Medical Services in each case investigations
undertaken on behalf of medical practitioners for purely scientific reasons m a y be
performed free of charge.
Investigations made in connection with any disease of danger to the public health
are performed free of charge.
Examinations of water for drinking purposes are made free of charge. - I
The above scale of fees applies only to specimens or patients if sent to the Laboratory.
