* CHARGES FOR RAT GUARDS USED ON VESSELS.
The following charges are made in respect of rat guards supplied by the Medical
Department to vessels which do not possess rat guards or have rat guards which do not
satisfy the requirements of the Port Health Officer:
For the use of rat guards by a vessel during the whole period she is in
harbour

(a) Motor cars and motor cycles registered for demonstration purposes.
.. (b) A n y motor car belonging to the Governor or to the Government.
(c) Motor tractors.
(d) Motor cars used by any Municipal Corporation for watering or other sanitary
purposes within the Municipal limits over which such Municipal Corporation exercises
authority.
(e) Motor cars belonging to any person w h o is the holder of a valid International.
Certificate or International Driving Permit issued outside Cyprus under the International
Convention relative to Motor Traffic of the 24th ApriL 1926, or of a valid Fiscal Permit
issued outside Cyprus under the International Convention regarding the taxation of foreign
vehicles of the 30th March, 1931.
* INSPECTION OF MOTOR CARS AND ISSUE OF
CERTIFICATES OF COMPETENCE.
For the inspection during any one year of a motor car plying for hire .. 1*.
For the testing of a person in driving a motor car .. .. .. .. 1*.
For the issue to a person of a certificate of competence in driving a motor car 55.
* FEES UNDER THE TAX COLLECTION LAW, 1932.
The following fees are payable by every person in default in connection with the
sale of the movable or the immovable property of such person for the execution of the
Comptroller's warrant in addition to the amount due by such person in respect of the
tax or duty mentioned in such warrant:—
