The exportation of the following
C Y P R U S P R O D U C E
containing foreign. superfluous or
inferior substance., matter or thing in excess of the percentage stated is prohibited :—
Raisin.-, nil: carobs, potatoes and broad beans, 1 per cent. ; vetches, :> per cent. ;
wheat, barley, oats, aniseed, linseed and white or black cumin, 4 per cent.
In the case of carobs the expression " foreign, superfluous or inferior substance
matter or thing " includes any wild carobs in excess of the percentage prescribed
for carobs.
The exnort-tion to the United Kingdom of any of the following good* is prohibited
unless such goods bear a mark of origin, in such form as the Comptroller ot Customs
m a y prescribe, which must be affixed, stamped or attached to the goods in the manner
described below :—

).—Exportation prohibited. The Governor may,
however, allow* exportation for scientific purposes.

TIMBER, CHARCOAL. FIREWOOD, BARK, TAR, PITCH, OR RESIN,
being the produce of Cyprus.-
Exportation prohibited save under a licence from the Conservator of Forests."
TOBACCO, ^IA-TCTACT-RED OR
U>ouNrFACTrRED.—Exportation in ships of. less than
sixty tons burthen and in packages of less than ten okes net each prohibited save
under special permit from the Collector of Customs.
This prohibition doe3 not apply to tobacco and manufactured tobacco exported
through the post in any quantity and subject to such conditions as the Comptroller
of Customs and Inland Revenue m a y from time to time prescribe.

LEAF.—Exportation prohibited except under a licence from the
Governor.

CYPRUS.—Exportation to the United Kingdom or to any of
the Dominions or British Colonies prohibited _xcept by licence from the Governor.
This prohibition does not apply to the exportation of wine, not exceeding four
gallons at any one time, by any person w h o satisfies the Comptroller of Customs that
such wine is intended for private consumption and not for sale.
