purposes.
73. Chemicals, other than Talc, for use in the manufacture of soap, and duly certified
by the importer as being solely for such use.
74. Cups, medals, shields or other trophies proved to the satisfaction of the
- Comptroller of Customs to have been w o n abroad as honorary distinctions or to have been
sent by donors resident abroad for such purpose.

(1) Bona fide baggage conaista of (a) wearing apparel and other personal effect* ; and (6) household
effects (such aa furniture, carpets, pictures), glassware, linen, cutlery, crockery and plate) which are
proved to the satisfaction of the Collector of Customa to have been in personal or household use by
the passenger and are not for saie. N o person is, however, entitled to exemption on household effects
other than uponfirstarrival in Cyprus to enter upon an office or employment or aa a settler.

Bona fid* baggage does not include anna., ammunition, oigara and cigarettes exceeding 100,
tobacco exceeding half a pound, wines and spirits exceeding one pint, perfumed spirits exceeding one
pint, merchandise, carriages, motor vehicles, bicycles, musical instruments, saddlery, provisions, and
piece goods.
