DUTY COLLECTION FEE.
A fee of 2r.p. is charged by the Post Office in respect of each parcel delivered in Cyprus
ni>on which Customs duties arc collected.
UNDELIVERABLE PARCELS.
Pin-Hs to th" United Kingdom, Egypt and the Sudan and those British Possessions
and Foreign Countries which have adopted the arrangement, which bear one address only,
if not claimed by the addressee within a prescribed period which varies from 15 to 90 days
according to the country of destination will be treated as undeliverable, and will be either
returned to the fonder or disposed of in accordance with the sender'3 wishes should such be
inscribed on the parcels. If the parcels bear two addresses, they will be held at the disposal
of the hrst addressee for a specified period (usually about half of the total period of retention)
and if not claimed wiU be held at the disposal of the second addressee for the remainder
of the total period of retention, and if then unclaimed will be treated as undeliverable.
Parcels received from those British Possessions and Foreign Countries which have
adopted the above mentioned arrangement will be retained for 15 days, that is to say,
8 days at the disposal of the first addressee and 7 days at the disposal of the second
addressee.
Parcels to and from countries which have not agreed to apply the simplified arrange–
ment for the treatment of undeliverable parcels will be retained at the Post Office to which
they are addressed for a period not exceeding three months ; but if possible the senders
will be consulted through the office of origin, as to disposal.

COLLECTION OF TRADE CHARGES.
REMBOURSEMENT SYSTEM.
The " Remboursement" system is designed to meet the requirements of persons who
wish to pav for articles sent to them at the time of receipt of the articles and also to meet the
requirements of trailers and others who wish to recover thronsrh the asr«-ncy of the Post Office the
ralue of articles sup:*licu by them.
Throughout these Regulations the amount to be collected under the " Remboursement "
system is called the * Trade Charge."
The amounc of Trade Charge shall not exceed the limits accepted by the country of
destination and the maximum shall in no case exceed £40 including the fees payable at the Office
of Origin and Postage.
Every " Rembouneineut Parcel" posted or delivered in Cyprus shall be chargeable
with such special fees as may be prescribed for that purpose.
The fees payable at the office of origin will be collected at the time of posting; and
should be included by the sender in the amount required to be coUected from the addressee.
The full amonnTso collected is remitted to the sender of the parcel by means of Trade Charge
Money Orders.

Ramboursem-ut parcels may be posted at the Post 0 Sees at Famagusta, Kyrenia,
Morphou Lefka, Lefkara, Rizocarpaso, Polis, Lefkonico. Kilani, Larnaca, Limassoi, Nicosia
and Paphos: and at Troodos, Platres and Pedoulas during the summer season.
The sender of a parcel posted under the Remhourseraent system may not have the amount
of the Trade Charge cancelled or reduced after posting.

FEES PAYABLE.
For each Remboursement parcel posted in Cyprus, in addition to the usual postage and
insurance or other fees, a fee of 2cp.

For each £ 1 or fraction of £1 on the value of the Trade Charge of each parcel posted
in Cyprus, a Remboursement fee of 2cp.
For each Remboursement parcel delivered in Cyprus a Delivery fee of 4*cp.
