General Conditions; Definitions;
Cooperating Institution
Section 1.01.

the provlslons of the General Conditions Applicable
to Loan and Guarantee Agreements of the Fund dated 11

11 December 1978, are hereby made applicable to this Agreement with

ever, to the following modification thereof (said General Conditions Applicable
to Loan and Guarantee Agreements as so modi fied being hereinafter called
the General Condi tions):
Section 6.07 is substituted with the following:
"Section 6.07. Payment. by the Fund. Payment by

of amounts which the Borrower is entitled to withdraw from the Loan
Account shall be made to

of payment request by the Fund from the Cooperating Institution."

1.02. \Vherever used

this Agreement, unless the

otherw ise requires, the several terms defi ned in the General Condi tions and
the Preamble

this Agreement have the respective meanings therein set
forth and the following addi tional terms have the following meanings:

"Project area" means the districts of Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca
and parts of the districts of Nicosia and Famagusta in the
Republ ic of Cyprus, as such area

"CCB" means the Cooperative Central Bank as

"DCD" means the Department of Cooperative Development
of MCI;
"CMIO" means the Cyprus Milk Industry

as such Law may be amended from time

"MCI" means the

Borrower;
"PC" means the Project Coordinator;
"PPCC" means the Project Policy and Coordination Committee;

means the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Re–

of the Borrower;
"DΟΑ"
means the Department of Agriculture of
rν1ΑΝR;
"VCCS" means the Village Cooperative Credit Societies of
the Bor.rower

any successor thereto;
"CCB Subsidiary Loan Agreement" means the Subsidiary Loan
Agreement described
