REPUBLIC OF CYPRUS
AND

ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT
The Government

the Republic

Cyprus and the Government of 1:he Ar3Jb Repnb1ic of
Egypt desiring the promotion and expans'ion

commeroial and economic
relaιtions
between the
two coun1:ries, and inspired by their oommon desire to strengthen the

them, have agreed as follows:
Article
1
The trade

Cyprus and the Arab Republic

Egypt shall
be

to, and effected within the scope vf
the general import and export laws, rules and

in force

each country.
The two ContracHng Parties, subject to

respective Iaws, rules and regulations

force,
shaH faciIitate as far as possible the exchangc

goods and shall take alI appropriate measures
to
promσte
trade between the two countries.
Article 2
The two
Conιtracting
Parties shall

importation and exportation
