(3) The provisions of this Article shall not affect any

Article 70
Supplernentary and transitional
prσvisions
(1) This Agreement shall be considered as a continuation of the
International Coffee Agreement 19.76 as Extended.
(2)
Ιη
order to facilitate the uninterrupted continuation of the
Internationa1 Coffee Agreement 1976 as Extended:
(a) all acts by or

behalf of the Organization or any of its
organs under the International Coffee Agreement 1976 as Extended,
ίη
effect
οη
30 September 1983, the
ter~~
of

do not
provide for expiry
οη
that date, shal1 remain
ίη
effect unless
changed under the provisions of this Agreement; and
(b)
a11
decisions required to be taken by the Council during coffee
year 1982/83 for application

coffee year 1983/84 shall be
taken by the Council

coffee year 1982/83 and applied
οη
a
provisional basis as if this Agreement had already entered
into force.

Authentic texts of the Agreernent
The texts of this Agreement
ίη
the English, French, Portuguese and
Spanish languages shall all be equal1y authentic. The originals shall be
deposited with the Secretary-General of the United
~ations.
