Το

The Fund shall be administered by a Committee cornposed of a11 exporting
Members.
(3) The Committee shall approve its own bye-1aws by a two-thirds rnajority
vote not later than 31 March 1984.

which assistance sha11 be given to exporting Members for the encouragement
of their domestic consumption.
(5) The Committee

proposed promotion activities with the appropriate parties

importing Member countries concerned.
(6) The Committee
may
estab1ish a compu1sory 1evy for exporting Members.
Other Members may a1so participate

the financing of the Fund

terrns
to be approved by the Committee.
(7) The resources of the Fund shall be used s01e1y to finance promotion
campaigns. to sponsor research and studies re1ated to the consumption of
coffee and to cover the administrative expenditures incurred
ίη
carrying
out such activities.
(8) The levy referred to

payable

US d011ars and shal1 be deposited

a specia1 account which
sha11 be at the disposa1 of the Committee and sha11 be designated the
