τίας συμφώνως προς τάς διατάξεις του 'Άρθρου

του Συντάγματος, συνοδευομένη
ύπο μεταφράσεως αύτης είς την έλληνικήν.
AGREEMENT
between the Government

intemational road transport.
The Govemment
οί
the 'Republic
οί
Cyprus and the Government of the PoJish People's
Republic. hereinafter called "the Contracting Parties".
Desiring
ιο
regulate and promote intemational road transport of passengers and goods
between their two States and
ίη
transi,t through their territories,
Have agreed as follows:
Article
1
The provisions of this Agreement shall apply
to the
transρort
operation

passengers and
goods to, from and
ίη
transit through the territory
οί
one Contracting Party and the
terήtοrΥ οί
the
other Contracting Party by vehicles registered
ίη
their respective territories.
Article 2
1. The term
"carήer"
shall mean any physioal

legal person who
ίη
either the Republic
οί
Cyprus or the
Polίsh
People's Repu,blic is autho–
rised
in
accordance with the relevant national
laws and regulations
ίη
force to perform the
carriage
οί
passengers and goods by road.
2.
The term "vehicle" shall mean any mecha–
nically propelled motor vehicle as weJl as any
trailer

semi-trailer for coupling

such vehicle,
which is designed for the carriage of:
(a) More than eight seated persons. excluding
the driver,

(b) goods.
Article
3
1.
Regular passenger services between the two
States
οι ίη
transit through their territories shall
be subject to licensing.
2.
The licence shall be issued by the competent
authority of each Contmcting Party for the part
of the operation performed
ίη
its territory.
3.
The procedure and conditions
οί

the licences shall be
deteπnined
jointly by the
competent

of the Contracting Parties.
Article 4
Passenger transport operations other than the
regu]ar services referred to
ίη
Artic]e 3 of this
Agreement are not subject to
lίcensing.
Article 5
1. Carriers of one Contracting Party shall have
the right

carry goods as well as
ιο
perform
journeys either after their vehic1es enter empty or
after they discharge goods
ίη
the

of the
other Contracting Party:
(a) Between any
ρo,int ίη
the
terήtοry οί
one
Contracting

and any point

territory

the other Contracting Party,
or
(b)
ίη
transit through the territory of the
other Contracting Party,

(c) 'between any

the territory
of
the
other Contracting Party and any poiot

2.
Carriers of one Contracting Party shall have
the right to take retum loads from the

Article 6
Except as provided

7 and 8

not subject to 1icensing.
Article
7
1. Each Contracting Party may require
ίη
its
territory special permitsfor trans,port operations
performed with vehicles whose weigh,t or dimen–
sions (with or without load) exceed the weight

2.
Each Contracting Party may require also
a special permit for the carriage of dangerous
goods.
