NOTICE UNDER SUB-SECTION (9) OF SECTION 17.
Whereas the Municipal Council of Nicosia, as the appropriate authority (hereinafter referred to as " the appropriate-
authority ") under section 3 of the Streets and Buildings Regulation Law (hereinafter referred to as " the Law ") by a-
notice under sub-section (3) of section 17 of the Law published in the Gazette of 26th March, 1959, notified that :—
(a) a unanimous resolution had been taken to the effect that the streets set out in the Schedule hereto should be
properly constructed ;
(b) plans and specifications had been prepared and deposited in its office ;
(c) such plans and specifications were open to inspection by the public at all reasonable times for a period of two
months from the publication of the said notice in the Gazette ;
And whereas, no objections having been made, the Governor-in-Council has granted his approval to the plans and
specifications concerning the said streets, and a notice thereof under sub-section (7) of section 17 of the Law has been
published under Public Instrument No. 424 of 1959 ;
And whereas the work of construction has been completed :
Now, therefore, by this notice under sub-section (9) of section 17 of the Law, the appropriate authority notifies in the
Schedule hereto the exact statement of the cost together with a final apportionment of the cost between the appropriate
authority and the owners affected.
SCHEDULE.
Name of Street : Kreon (Part).
Description of work : Excavation,filling,foundation, premix, curb, extention of culvert, levelling, ditches and
overhead expenses.
Exact total cost of work for the total length of frontage : £871.145 mils.
Less : Municipal contribution in respect of the drain which runs across this street
Net exact cost of work to be apportioned amongst the owners of privately-owned plots
Total length of frontage : 1293 feet.
Less : Frontage of the drain which runs across this street : 14 feet.
Total length of frontage of privatelv owned plots : 1279 feet.
