Under the power and authority vested in him by
the Courts of Justice Laws, 1953 to 1959, His Excel–
lency the Governor has been pleased to appoint
Mr. Mehmed Zekia to fill the office of Chief Justice
of the Supreme Court in the Colony of Cyprus with

the 16th and 17th day of August, 1960, will be kept
as public holidays and Government offices will be

Notice is hereby given under section 6 of the
Nursing and Midwifery Regulations that the Exami–
nation in Midwifery shall be held on Wednesday the
10th August, 1960, at 8.30 a.m. at the Nicosia
General Hospital.
