NOTICE UNDER SECTION
Notice is hereby given that the Municipal Council
of the Municipal Corporation of Limassol in exercise
of the powers vested in them by section 12 of the
Streets and Buildings Regulation Law (Cap. 165
and Laws 10 of 1950, 44 of 1954, 18 of 1955,
12 of 1957 and 14 of 1959) in their capacity
as the Appropriate Authority under section 3 of the
said Laws, with the object of widening and improving
Demosthenis Mitsis Street within the Limassol
municipal limits, have caused a plan to be prepared
showing the width of the said street and the direction
that it shall take.
The said plan is deposited in the Municipal
Offices and will be open to inspection by the public
during working hours for three months from the
date of this publication in the Gazette.
Any person who objects to the said plan may at
any time within the aforesaid three months appeal to
His Excellency the Governor against the said plan.

N O T I C E U N D E R S U B - S E C T I O N (3) O F S E C T I O N 17.
Whereas the Municipal Council of Limassol, as the appropriate authority (hereinafter referred to as " the appropriate
authority ") under section 3 of the Streets and Buildings Regulation L a w (hereinafter referred to as " the L a w ") considers
under sub-section (2) of section 17 of the L a w that the streets set out in the Schedule hereto should be properly constructed;
A n d whereas the appropriate authority has passed a resolution to this effect and has prepared plans and specifications
for such works :
N o w , therefore, by this notice under sub-section (3) of section 17 of the Law, the appropriate authority notifies that :
(a) a unanimous resolution has been taken to that effect ;
(b) plans and specifications have been prepared and deposited in its office •
(c) such plans and specifications are open to inspection by the public at all reasonable times for a period of two
months from the publication of this notice in the Gazette.
And it is further notified that particulars in columns 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (b) of the Schedule are given respectively for the
following matters in respect of each of the streets specified in the Schedule :
(i) the names of the owners w h o will contribute to the cost ;
(ii) the proportion in which their contribution shall be made ;
(iii) the estimated cost of the work ;
(iv) any unexpended sum of money deposited with the appropriate authority under section 6 of the L a w ;
(v) the number of years over which such owners m a y pay their contribution in equal annual instalments.
Any owner of immovable property affected by the plans and specifications prepared by the appropriate authority and
deposited in its office as aforesaid may, during the period within which such plans and specifications are deposited for
inspection, lodge an objection thereto in writing with the appropriate authority under sub-section (4) of section 17 of the
Law.

Total length of frontage : 1,510 feet run.
Total estimated cost of work : £975.460 mils.
Description of work to be done : Fixing of kerb stone, formation, metalling and consolidation, three coats of asphalt,
side ditches and berms and overhead expenses.
