The Streets and Buildings Regulation Law.
CAP. 165 A N D L A W S 10 OF 1950, 44 OF 1954, 18 OF 1955, 12 OF 1957 AND 14 OF 1959.
NOTICE UNDER SUB-SECTION (9) OF SECTION 17.
Whereas the Municipal Council of Famagusta, as the appropriate authority (hereinafter referred to as " the appropriate
authority ") under section 3 of the Streets and Buildings Regulation Law (hereinafter referred to as " the Law ") by a
notice under sub-section (3) of section 17 of the Law published in the Gazette of 10th April, 1958, notified that :—
(a) a unanimous resolution had been taken to the effect that the street set out in the Schedule hereto should be properly
constructed ;
(6) plans and specifications had been prepared and deposited in its office ;
(c) such plans and specifications were open to inspection by the public at all reasonable times for a period of two
months from the publication of the said notice in the Gazette ;
And whereas, after considering objections made, the Governor-in-Council has granted his approval to the plans and
specifications concerning the said street and a notice thereof under sub-section (7) of section 17 of the Law has been
published under Public Instrument No. 930 of 1958 ;
And whereas the work of construction has been completed :
Now, therefore, by this notice under sub-section (9) of section 17 of the Law the appropriate authority notifies in the
Schedule hereto the exact statement of the cost together with a final apportionment of the cost between the appropriate
authority and the owners affected.

Quarantine Restrictions.
The attention of the public is invited to the
Notification made on the 12th December, 1958,
by His Excellency the Governor pursuant to the
Quarantine Law, Cap. 145, and published in
Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette of the 18th
December, 1958, whereby it was declared that
the following local areas were infected local areas
and that all passengers and goods therefrom
would be subject to the measures prescribed by
the Quarantine (Maritime and Aerial) Regulations

953 to 1958, with respect to the dangerous
infectious diseases set forth against each local
