The Streets and Buildings Regulation Law.

N O T I C E U N D E R SUB-SECTION (9) OF SECTION 17.
Whereas the Municipal Council of Famagusta, as the appropriate authority (hereinafter referred to as " the appropriate
authority ") under section 3 of the Streets and Buildings Regulation Law (hereinafter referred to as " the Law ") by a
notice under sub-section (3) of section 17 of the Law published in the Gazette of 21st August, 1958, notified that :—
(«) a unanimous resolution had been taken to the effect that, inter alia, the streets set out in the Schedule hereto
should be properly constructed ;
(b) plans and specifications had been prepared and deposited in its office ;
(c) such plans and specifications were open to inspection by the public at all reasonable times for a period of two months
from the publication of the said notice in the Gazette ;
And whereas, no objections having been made, the Governor-in-Council has granted his approval to the plans and
specifications concerning the said streets, and a notice thereof under sub-section (7) of section 17 of the Law has been
published under Public instrument No. 361 of 1959 ;
And whereas the work of construction has been completed :
Now, therefore, by this notice under sub-section (9) of section 17 of the Law the appropriate authority notifies in the
Schedule hereto the exact statement of the cost together with afinalapportionment of the cost between the appropriate
.authority and the owners affected.
SCHEDULE.
Name of Street : Kyrillos (Part).
Exact total cost of work for the total length of frontage
Less : Municipal Contribution of 5 0 % of the total cost of work and Municipal contribution
in respect of the Monastery of Ayios Loucas which abuts on this street
Net exact cost of work to be apportioned amongst the owners of privately-owned plots

Total length of frontage of privately-owned plots
Description of work done : Levelling, sub-grade, asphalting and overhead expenses.
