The Contagious Diseases (Animals) Law.
CAP. 65.
O R D E R U N D E R SECTION 4 (I) (/).
In exercise of the powers vested in the Governor
by section 4 (1) (/) of the Contagious Diseases
(Animals) Law, Cap. 65, duly deputed to the Chief
Veterinary Officer under section 6 of the said L a w
by paragraph 3 of Notification No. 527 published
in the Gazette of the 3rd July, 1931, I, Ahmed
Orhan, Chief Veterinary Officer, hereby order as-
follows :—
1. All cattle, sheep and goats in the Colony shall
be inoculated with Foot and Mouth Disease Vaccine.
2. The inoculations shall be carried out by Vete–
rinary Officers, Veterinary Inspectors, Veterinary
Assistants, Veterinary Foremen, or by such Vaccina–
tors as may be appointed by m e in writing in that
behalf.
3. Every owner or person in charge of cattle,
sheep and goats shall produce such cattle, sheep and
goats and at such time as shall be appointed by a.
Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Inspector, Veterinary
Assistant, Veterinary Foreman or Vaccinator as
aforesaid by notice posted in a conspicuous place in
the village concerned, and every such owner or
person in charge shall render full assistance to the
Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Inspector, Veterinary
Assistant, Veterinary Foreman or Vaccinator in
the inoculation of the cattle, sheep and goats as
aforesaid.
