Tenders for the supply of aladja for the Mental
Hospital, Medical Department, should reach the
Treasury not later than 10 a.m. on the 5th March,
i960.

The Department of Agriculture will be able to
dispose daily a quantity of 60—250 okes of goat
milk obtainable from the Government Farm at
Orites (Paphos) during the period from 7th
March up to and including 30th September, i960,
and deliverable at Ktima twice daily at one hour
after sun-rise and two hours before sun-set.
Anyone interested may submit a tender to the
President of the Tender Board, Treasury, Nicosia,
not later than 10 a.m. on Saturday the 5th
March, i960

Tenders.
Anyone wishing to undertake the supply to the-
Department of Agriculture, of 25,000 earther*.
pots, the 20,000 having a depth of 9 inches and
an external diameter of 9 inches at the top and
6 inches at the bottom and the remaining 5,000
having a depth of 6 inches and an external
diameter of 6 inches at the top and 4 inches at the
bottom, may submit a tender to the President of
the Tender Board, Treasury, Nicosia, not later
than 10 a.m. on Saturday the 5th March, i960: —
1. The offer should be per thousand for each
size.
2. A sample of each size of pot offered should
be submitted to the Director of Agriculture,
Nicosia, before the closing of the afore-mentioned
time and date.
3. The delivery shall be completed by 30th
September, i960, and shall take place at the
factory on lorry and in lots of not less than 1,000
furnish a solvent guarantee or lodge a deposit of
/ioo as a security for the true and faithful per–
formance of his undertaking.
3. The Government is not bound to accept the
highest or any tender.

Anyone wishing to undertake the supply to the
Department of Agriculture of 200 tons of
imported or local wheat bran (coarse or medium
or mixed) deliverable in returnable bags of equal
weight at Nicosia (130 tons), at Famagusta
(50 tons) and at Larnaca (20 tons) on lorry not
later than 31st March, i960, may submit a tender
to the President of the Tender Board, Treasury,
Nicosia, as well as a sample of the bran offered
to the Director of Agriculture, Nicosia, not later
than 10 a.m. on Saturday the 5th March, i960.
The price offered should be per oke.
2. The approved tenderer will be required to
sign a contract and furnish a bank or other
guarantee equal at least to the one tenth of the
value of the tender.
3. Any further particulars may be obtained
from the Director of Agriculture, Nicosia (tele–
phone No. 4000/2255 or 4000/2257, exten–
sion 13).
4. The Government is not bound to accept the
lowest or any tender.
4. The approved tenderer shall be required to-
sign a contract and furnish a solvent guarantee
as a security for the true and faithful performance
of his undertaking.
5. Any further particulars may be obtained
from the Director of Agriculture, Nicosia (tele–
phone No. 4000/2255).

lowest or any tender.

Anyone wishing to purchase the entire mature
banana crop of the Kouklia Chiftlik (Paphos)
during the period from 10th March up to and
including 30th September, i960, may submit a
tender to the President of the Tender Board,
Treasury, Nicosia, not later than 10 a.m. on
Saturday the 5th March, i960.
2. The offer should be per oke of bunch on the
spot.
3. The approved tenderer shall be bound to
take delivery of all bunches that may mature at
any one time during the afore-mentioned period
and pay therefor immediately.
4. The cutting of the bunches shall be done by
the Department of Agriculture at its own cost.
5. The approved tenderer shall sign a contract
and furnish a solvent guarantee or lodge a
deposit of £100.000 mils as a security for the true
and faithful performance of his undertaking.

7. The Government is not bound to accept the

Tenders for the supply of building materials,
namely: —
40 tons fresh lime (to be delivered in Nicosia
District) ;
30 tons fresh lime (to be delivered in Fama–
gusta District) ;
15 tons fresh lime (to be delivered in Limassol
District) ;
25 tons fresh lime (to be delivered in Kyrenia
District) ;
20 tons fresh lime (to be delivered in Paphos
District),
should reach the Treasury not later than the 12th
March, i960.
2. Details will be supplied to tenderers on
application to the Acting Chief Antiquities Officer.

The attention of the public is invited to the
Notification made on the 12th December, 1958,
by His Excellency the Governor pursuant to the-
Quarantine Law, Cap. 145, and published in*
Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette of the i8tlr.
December, 1958, whereby it was declared that
the following local areas were infected local areas*
and that all passengers and goods therefrom-
would be subject to the measures prescribed by
the Quarantine (Maritime and Aerial) Regulations-
1953 to 1958, with respect to the dangerous*
infectious diseases set forth against each local*
