The above figures as regards capacity, weight and
lengtb hare been laid down by the Weights and
Measures Laws 1890 and 1930. T h s donum is,
however, computed at different sizes by tha inhabitant*
in different parts of the Colony, and under tha
Interpretation Law (No. 26 of 1933) it is reckoned
as " 1,600 square yards, according to the British
Imperial Standard."
