For the inspection of the berthing or sleeping accommodation of the crew:

Provided as follows :—
(a.) The aggregate amonnt of the fees for any such inspection shall
not exceed £1 whatever be the number of separate visits.
(b.) W h e n the accommodation is inspected at the same time with the
measurement of the tonnage no separate fee shall be charged for
the inspection.
For the inspection of light and fog signals :—
For each visit made to the ship on the application of the owner and
for each nsit made where tbe lights orfittingsare found defective

For the inspection of the marking of a ship :—
For each visit made to the ship on the appUcation of the owner and

Provided as follows :—

Sale of maps, repayment for temporary Customs Officers and temporary Forest
Guards, sale of drugs, hospital stoppages, Police purchases of discharge, sale of Police
and Customs clothing, sale of Government publications, Printing Office reimbursement*
hire of Government motor cars, reimbursement for Evkaf for Audit clerks, reimbursement
for orderlies to Pohce officers, overpayments recovered, etc.
* TEMPORARY LEVY ON SALARIES.
A temporary levy at the rate of 5 % is imposed upon the salary o f —
(a) every Government servant in receipt of a salary exceeding £100 per a n n u m and
(o) every teacher appointed under the Elementary Education Laws, 1929 to 1932
