Nora.—Special provisions as to visitors.
A n y visitor to Cyprus importing a motor car or motor cycle for his own use is not •
required to pay any registration fee or to take out any licence or licence to drive,
provided he produces to the Divisional Police Officer at the port of disembarkation his -
motor car or motor cycle licence and a licence to drive, for the current year, issued by
the authorities of any country in which he has last registered such motor car or motor y 1175 of 12th March,
cycle and obtained such licence to drive. If such visitor fails to produce such licence or J®*

licence to drive, he is liable to pay the prescribed fees. The term visitor means a person
viaiting Cyprus for a period of four months and not longer, such period commencing
from the date of importation of the motor car or motor cycle.

* REGISTRATION OF FIREARMS.
For a licence to possess a firearm
For a licence lo make or deal in firearms
For a special temporary licence, valid for one month, to use a firearm
in respect of which a licence has been issued to some other person..
* PILOTS' LICENCES.
For every licence granted
* SPONGE LICENCES.
(Issued at Famagusta by the Inspector of Fisheries.)
For each boat with harpoon (Kamaki), naked diving only, 10«. and 2 0 % of the
whole take of sponges.

For each boat fitted with diving apparatus, £1 and 2 5 % of the whole take of
sponges.
* BOAT AND BOATMEN'S LICENCES (a).
For a boat not exceeding 6 tons register, a charge of 8s. per annum.
For a boat exceeding 6 tons register, 3s. for thefirst6 tons and an additional charge of 2s.
in respect of every ton in excess thereof, up to a maximum of 20s. a year.
For boatmen, a charge of 4icp. per annum.
