Vessels berthing alongside the Piers, or Jetties, are charged the following rates for
berthage:—
For every ton of the vessel's tonnage :—

(The tons chargeable to be Register Tons according to rules of measurement for the time
being in force in England.)
AUTHO*XTT.
(1) Lighten discharging cargo from vessels in the Harbour or taking cargo for shipment
on board such vessels, and boats, exempt.
(2) Vessels which neither land Foreign cargo nor take cargo on board for a Foreign Port,.
to pay half the rates above described.

« {to be charged when a vessel is not 'paying Berthage dues).
For every ton of the vessel's registered tonnage, per week or part of a week 5 paras
with a m a x i m u m charge of 4icp. per week or part of a week in the cose
of vessels of 50 tons and under, and of 1/- per week or part of a week
in the case of vessels exceeding 50 tons but not exceeding 100 tons.
Vessels registered as Cyprus ships, half rates.
Vessels other than Cyprus ships, laying up for the winter, half rates.
For the purposes of these regulations the winter is reckoned as from the 15th Nov. -
in any year to the loth March in the following year.
EXEMPTIONS.
(a) All ships registered as Cyprus ships laying up for the winter in the Inner Harbour
provided that they moor at such places as the Harbour Master directs.
(6) Lighten and boats licensed under the Boats Regulations Law, 1884; fishing
boats and pleasure boats.
(c) Ships of W a r .
(<f) Yachts belonging to recognised clubs and wholly in ballast.
