* FEES UNDER THE WRECKS LAW (No. li>) 1886.
For wreck taken by tbe Receiver into his custody a commission offivepounds per hundred
pounds on the value thereof, but so that tbe whole amount of percentage shall not exceed tbe
s u m of twenty pounds in any case.
In the case of derelict delivered into the custody of the Receiver there shall be charged the
following fees instead of percentage, viz.:—
If tiie value of the ship or imat with ber cargo equals or exceeds £60o, two pounds
for thefirstday, and one pound for every subsequent day during which tiie Receiver i>
employed on this service.
If the value of the ship or boat with her cargo is less than £600. half tbe above
charges.
But if the amonnt reckoned according to this Rule exceeds n percentage of five per
cent., tbe latter rate is to be charged.
In case? when- any service*; are rendered by a Receiver in resfiect of any ship or boat in
distress, not //«.•••• H-re?!:. or in respect of tiie cargo or articles belonging thereto, the following
fees shall be charged, viz.:—
If the vaiue of tiie ship with ber cargo equals or exceeds £600, two pounds for the

In cases where the Receiver finds it necessary to employ a valuer to deter–
mine the value of any propertv in bis custody, there shall be paid to
the person employed to value such property a fee not exceeding tbe
