To a valuer appointed under Section 24 of the Wrecks Law, 1886, there shall be paid
fees not exceeding the following, viz.:—
Where the vessel only has to be valued, if the value does not exceed £6 0
If the value exceeds £600

Where cargo also has to be valued an additional allowance not to exceed ...
There shall also be charged by the Receiver in respect of snch valuation the
following fees, viz. :—
W h e n the value of the whole property, both ship and cargo, does not
exceed £600

In cases where the Receiver'finds it necessary to employ a valuer to deter–
mine the vaiue of any property in his custody, there shall be paid to
the person employed to value such property a fee not exceeding the

But when the value of the property exceeds £100 there may be paid such sum, not exceed*

* BOAT AND BOATMEN'S LICENSES.
?or a boat not exceeding rt tons burthen, a charge of 4s. per annum.
For a boat exceeding 6 tons burthen, 4s. for the first 6 tons and an additional charge.of ls.
in respect of every ton in excess thereof, up to a m a x i m u m of 10s. a year.
For boatmen, a charge of 4icp. per annum.
* STAMP DUTIES.
A proportional duty on the nominal value is levied, in accordance with the subjoined tariff on
all Promissory Notes, Orders for Payment, Delegations, Bills of Exchange. Acknowledgments of
all kinds Deposit. Certificates, all Negotiable Documents, all Deeds or Contracts embodying anv
nndertakimr, guarantee, partnership or other agreement and stipulating any fixed sum, and
generally all deeds and titles other than those enumerated in the Schedule offixedStamp Duties,
in wliich some fixed consideration or amount is stipulated except Policies of Insurance.
