* SALT.
Sale of Salt for consumption in the Island

regards payment.
* STORAGE OF GUNPOWDER, &c.
The following charges are payable to the Customs Treasury of the District of Larnaca by
any person storing any explosive substance in the Government Store at Larnaca:—
1 copper piastre per month, or part thereof for every keg or case containing Dot more
than 10 okes of explosive substance.
2 copper piastres per month, or part thereof for every keg or case containing more than
10 okes.
In the case of storage rate of any explosive substance remaining unpaid for 6 months, trie
Chief Collector of Customs may sell a surfkieut quantity to cover the arrears of the storage rate.
The Board of ICvkaf is untitled to store explosive substances in the Government Store
without the payment of any rate.

* BANDEROLLING SILKWORM EGGS.
The following fees are payable to the Agricultural Department in respect of all boxes
of imported or locally raised silkworm eggs banderolled b y that D e p a r t m e n t : —
O n e half copper piastre for every Cyprus d r a m or fraction thereof.

* FEES UNDER THE WRECKS LAW (No. 12) 1886.
For wreck taken by the Receiver into his custody a commission of five pouuds per hundred
pounds on the value thereof, but so that the whole amount of percentage 3hall not exceed the
m m of twenty pounds in any case.
In the case of derelict delivered into the custody of the Receiver there shall be charged the
following fees instead of percentage, viz.:—
If the value of the ship or boat with her cargo equals or exceeds £60<\ two pounds
for the first day, and one pound for every -mbsequent day during which the Receiver is
employed on this service.
If the value of the ship or boat with her cargo is less than £600, half tlie above
charges.
But if the amount reckoned according to this Rule exceeds a percentage of five per
cent., the latter rate is to be charged.
In cases where any services are rendered by a Receiver in respect of any ship or boat in
distress, not being wreck, or in respect of the cargo or articles belonging thereto, the following
fees shall be charged, viz.:—
If the value of the ship with her cargo equals or exceeds £600, two pounds for the
first dav, and one pound for every subsequent day the Receiver is employed in the service.
If "the value of the ship with her cargo is less than £600, half the above charges.
