In the case of derelict delivered into the custody of the Receiver there shall be chargetTthe
following fees instead of percentage, viz.:—
If the value of the ship or boat with her cargo equals or exceeds £600, two pounds
for the tirst day, and one pound for every subsequent day during which the Receiver is
eraploved on this service.
If the value of the ship or boat with her cargo is less than £600 pounds, half the above
But if the amount reckoned according to this Rule exceeds a percentage of five per
cent., the latter rate is to be charged.
In cases where any services are rendered by a Receiver in respect of any ship or boat in
ditjcress, not being ivreek, or in respect of the cargo or articles belonging thereto, the following
fees sball be charged, viz.:—
If the value of the ship with her cargo equals or exceeds £600, two pounds for the
first day, and one pound for every subsequent day the Receiver is employed in the service.
If'the value of the ship with her cargo is less than £600, half the above charges.
T o a valuer appointed under Section 24 of the Wrecks Law, 1886, there shall be paid
fees not exceeding the following, viz.:—

There shall also be charged by the Receiver in respect of snch valuation the
following fees, viz. :—
W h e n the value of the whole property, both ship and cargo, does not

In cases, where the Receiver finds it necessary to employ a valuer to deter–
mine the value of any property iu his custody, there shall be paid to
the person employed to value such property a fee not exceeding the

But when the value of the property exceeds £100 there may be paid such sum, not exceed–
ing £ 1 , as m a y b« considered reasonable according to the special circumstances of the case.
BOAT AND,BOATMEN'S LICENSES.
For a boat not exceedingtftons burthen, a charge of 4s. per annum.
For a boat exceeding 6 tons burthen, 4s. for thefirst6 tons and an additional charge of Is.
in respect of every ton in exess thereof, up to a m a x i m u m of 10s. a year.

'A proportional duty on the nominal value is levied, in accordance with the subjoined tariff ou
all Promissory .Notes, Orders for Payment, Ueligations, Bills of Exchange. Acknowledgments of
all kinds Deposit, Certificates, all Negotiable Documents, all Deeds or Contracts embodying any
undertaking, guarantee, partnership or other agreement and stipulating any fixed sum° and
generally all deeds aud titles other than those enumerated in the Scheduled fixed Stamp Duties,
in which some fixed consideration or amount'is stipulated except Policies of Insurance.
