For every hotel, any premises occupied by any club, restaurant or other place used for the }
•ale of intoxicating liquors by retail, an annual percentage on the rental or yearly value of the
premises so used after the rate of 50 per cent, but so that the license duty for an hotel shall not
exceed £10 per annum, or for a club-house £."> per aunum, and so that the license duty for auy
other premises so used shall uot exceed the sum £20 per annum, aud so that thu lowest annual
rate of duty chargeable shall be for premise*- in any of the towns of Nicosia, Larnaca, Famagusta
(including Varoshia), Kyrenia, Ktima and Limassoi £4 per annum, and for premises iu auy other
place £l 10s. per annum.
For selling by retail in any teut or booth or in the open air - - - 2s. per day. j
EXPORT DUTIES.
Upon all Wine exported from the Islaud a duty at the rate of 3 paras per (liquid) gallon.

shipment. The Customs Authorities are hert-Jby empowered in the event of the value of any
mineral being in their* opinion insufficiently or incorrectly declared to demand ami take in respect
of the said mineral the above Royalty or any p;irt thereof in kind instead of in cash.

STORAGE OF GUNPOWDER. &c.
The following charges are payable to the Customs Treasury of the District of Lamaca by
any person storing any explosive substance in the Government Store at Larnaca:—
1 copper piastre-per month, or part thereof for every keg or case containing not more
than 10 okes of explosive substance.
2 copper piastres per month, or part thereof for everv kee or case containine more than I
10 okes.
In the case of storage rate of any explosive substance remaining unpaid for i. months, the '
Chief Collector of Customs may sell a sufficient quantity to cover cue arrears of the storage rate.
The B-ard of Evkaf is entitled to store explosive substances iu the Govy.-umer-t Score
without che payment of any rate.

FEES UNDER THE WRECKS LAW (No. 12) 1SS6.
For wreck taken by the Receiver into his custody a commission of five pounds per hundred
pounds ou the value thereof, but so that the whole amount of percentage shall not exceed the
sum of twenty pounds in any case.
