In the case of derelict delivered into the custody of the Receiver there shall be charged the
following fees instead of percentage, viz.:—
If the value of the ship "or boat with her cargo equals or exceeds £600, two pounds
for thefirstday, aud oue pound for every subsequent day duriug which the Receiver is
employed on this service.
Ir the value of the ship or boat with her cargo is less than £600 pounds, half the above
ch. urges.
But if the amount reckoned according to this Rule exceeds a percentage of five per
cent., the latcer rate is to be charged.
In cases where any services are "rendered by a Receiver in respect of any ship or boat in
ducress, not being u-reck, or in respecc of the cargo or articles belonging thereto, the following
fees shall be charged, viz.:—
If the value of the ship with her cargo equals or exceeds £600, two pounds for the
first day, and one pound for every subsequent day the Receiver is employed in the service.
If the value of the ship with her cargo is less than £600, half the above charges.
To a valuer appointed under Section 24 of the Wrecks Law, 1886, there shall be paid
fees not exceeding the following, viz.:—
Where che vessel only has to be valued, if the value does not exceed £600
If the value exceeds £600 ....
Where cargo also has to be valued an additional allowance not to exceed ...
There shall also be charged by the Receiver in respect of such valuation the
follo\»ing fees, viz.:—
When che value of the whole property, both ship and cargo, dnes not
exceed £600 ... ... * ... ... ". .
When the value of the whole property, boch ship and cargo, exceeds £600 ...
In cases where che Receiverfindsic necessary co employ a valuer to deter–
mine che value of any propercy in his cuscody, there shall be paid to
che person employed" to value such property a fee noe exceeding tbe

But when che value of the property exceeds £100 there may be paid such sura, not exceed–
ing £1, as may be considered reasonable according to the special circumstances of the case.
' BOAT AND BOATMEN'S LICENSES.
For a boac not exceeding 6fcmsburthen, a charge of 4s. per annum.
For a boat exceeding 6 cons burthen, 4s. for che ifirsc 6 tous and an additional charge.of ls.
in respect of every ton in exess thereof, up to a maximum of 10s. a year.
For boacmen. a charge of 4-k-p. per annum.
STAMP DUTIES.
A proportional duty on the nominnl value is levied, in accordance with che subjoined tariff on
all Promissory Notes. Orders for Paymeut, 1 >elig*»ciou-j, Bills of Exchange, Acknowledgments of
all kinds Depot;:. Certificates, all Negotiable Dooumencs, all Deeds ur Contracts embodying anv
undertaking, gr.i-.rautee, partnership or other agreement and stipulating anv fixed sura* and
generally all de-ris and tides other than those enumeracd in the Schedule offixedStamp Duties.
in which some ±_z.d consideration or amount is stipulated except Policies of Insurance.
