TAX ON ANIMALS.
SHEEP AND GOAT TAX.
2^ silver piascres (34cp.) per head yearly on every sheep and Sep. per head yearly on
every goat one year old sina upwards.

The tax on -groats may be increased and chat on sheep decreased by the Hi?h Commissioner
in Conncil provided that no increase shall be made in the total amount receivable as calculated
upon the basis of the last preceding official returns of the numbers of sheep and goats in the
Island.
Sheep and guats not produced by the owners at thefirstofficial enumeration and uncounted
thereat are liable to double tax.
PIG TAX.
*4^cp. per head yearly on every pig over three months old.
Pigs not produced by the owners at the Srsc official enumeration and uncounted thereat are
liable to double tax.
VERGHI.
KIMAT.
4 per 1,00" on the capital value of lands, houses and other immoveable property.

to time altered or modified by Cyprus -Scacnte Law.

(a).
In matcers regulaced by the Ruirs of Courc, 1886, in maccers
arising under the auchoricy of clause 70 o: the High Court of Juscice
Law, 1879, and in proceedings in bankruptcy under the provi–
sions of the Ottoman Commercial Code, the following fees are appointed
to be taken, in che Supreme Courc, in che several District Courcs, in
any office which is connected with any of chose Courts and by any
officer accached to any of those Courts, inrespectof the several pro–
ceedings mentioned :—
