Salt for export in large quantities. Special arrangement with the Government is made as
regards payment.
STORAGE OF GUNPOWDER, &c.
The following charges are payable to the Treasury Clerk of the District of Larnaca by
any person storing gunpowder, cartridges, or other explosive substances in the Government
Store at Larnaca:—
2 paras per. day, or part thereof for every 10 okes of gunpowder.
4 paras per day, or part thereof for every 10 okes of dynamite or ocher explosives.
In the case of storage rate of any explosive substance remaining unpaid for 6 months, the
Commissioner may sell a sufficient quantity to cover the arrears of the storage rate. .
The Board of Evkaf is entitled to store explosive substances in the Governmenc Store
without the payment of any rate.

EXAMINATION OF ANIMALS BY VETERINARY SURGEON.
The following fees are payable iu respecc of animals examined by the Vecerinary Surgeon
or his deputy prior to shipment:—

For wreck taken by the Receiver into his custody a commission offivepounds per hundred
pounds on the value thereof, but so that the whole amount of percentage shall not exceed the
sum of twenty pounds in any case.
In the case of derelict delivered into the custody of the Receiver there shall be charged the
foUowing fees instead of percentage, viz.:—
If the ralue of the ship or boac with her cargo equals or exceeds £600, two pounds
for che first day, and oue pound for every subsequenc day during which che Receiver is
employed on this servia*.
If the value of the ship or boac with her cargo is less thau £600 pounds, half the above
charges.
But if the amount reckoned according co this Rule exceeds a percentage offiveper
cent., the latter rate is to be charged.
In cases where any services are rendered by a Receiver in respect of any ship or boat in
distress, not being wreck, or in respect of che cargo or articles belonging thereto, the followin°-
fees sball be charged, viz.:—
If the value of the ship with her cargo equals or exceeds £600, two pounds for the
first day, and one pound for every subsequent day the Receiver is employed in the service.
If the value of the ship with her cargo is less than £600, half the above charges.
To a valuer appointed under Section 24 of the Wrecks Law, 1886, there shall be paid
fees not exceeding the following, viz.:—
Where the vessel only has to be valued, if che value does not exceed £600
If the value exceeds £600
"Where cargo also has to be valued an addicionai allowance not to exceed

following fees, viz.:—

Iu cases where the Receiver finds it necessary to emplov a valuer to deter-
miue the value of any property in his custody, there shall be paid to
the person employed to value such property a fee not exceeding the
