C O U R T FEES.—continued.
On sealing any writ of execution :—

Where the copy does not exesed 200 words in English or Greek,
or 130 in Turkish ...

On certifying any copy of any record of the Court (where such
copy is not prepared by an Officer of the Court) to be a true
copy of the original document (a)
On filing a copy of a judgment endorsed by a Village Judge
Service of documents :—
For service iu Cyprus of any document required to be served through
the Court such fee as shall be properly payable to the pohce for that
purpose, and on payment of such fee to the proper officer of police, the
document -will be served in the same manner as though it were forwarded
for service by an officer of the Court.
The fees appointed to be taken by the Pohce are as follows (6):—
For the service of any document served within a distance of three
miles of the Court of the District -
For every additional three miles or portion thereof
But so that the maximum fee charged shall not in any case exceed
the sum of

For the service out of Cyprus of any document required to be served
through the Court such sum as shall be actually expended in effecting
such service and procuring evidence thereof. Any Judge or the Registrar
of the Court may, on application being made for snch service to be
effected, require the applicant to deposit in Court such sum as may be
estimated to be necessary for defraying the expenses of such service and
the procuring of evidence thereof.
In atiy proceeding not provided for in the above scale, in respect
whereof a fee has been heretofore chargeable, the same fee shall continue
to be taken as heretofore. A n y such fee wh-jre expressed in the currency
of the Ottoman Empire to be reckoned at the rate of 1^ Cypras piastres
for a piastre and 80 Cyprus piastres for a medjid. and where expressed
in British currency to be reckoned at the rate of 14 Cyprus piastres
for every two pence.
