FEES UNDER THE WRECKS LAW, 18S6.
For wreck taken by the Eeceiver into his cnstody a commission of five pounds per hundred
pounds on the value thereof, but so that tho whole amonnt of percentage shall not exceed the
sum of twenty pounds in any case.
In the case of derelict delivered into the custody of the Eeceiver there shall be charged the
following fees instead of percentage, viz.:—

If the value of the ship or boat with her cargo equals or exceeds £600, two pounds
for thefirstday, and oue pound for every subsequent day during which the Eeceiver is !
employed on this service.

But if the amount reckoned according to this Pule exceeds a percentage offiveper
cent., the latter rate is to be charged.
In cases where any services are rendered by a Eeceiver in respect of any ship or boat in
distress, not being xercek, or in respect of the cargo or articles belonging thereto, the foilowin<*»- !

There shall also be charged by the Eeceiver in respect of snch valuation the

In cases where the Eeceiver finds it necessary to emplov a valuer to deter–
mine the value of any property in his custody, there shall be paid to

ing £1, as m a y be considered reasonable according to che special circumstances of the case.
"PILOTS' LICENSES.

BOAT AND BOATMEN'S LICENSES.
For a boat not exceeding 6 tons burthen, a charge of 4s. per annum
For a boat exceeding 6 tons burthen, 4s. for thefirst6 tons aud an'additional charge of 1*
in respect of everv ton iu excess thereof, up to a m a x i m u m of 10s. a year.
For boat-urea, a charge of 2s. p^r aimum.
