(a). For Government Departments

(1). For the identification of old and new registrations,
(2). For the identification of Verghi Assessments, and
other enquiries connected with Verghi Assessments, j

(4). O n appUcation by a Judgment Creditor for registra–
tion of his Debtor's properties under L a w I X . of lS9l>,
(5). For identification and settlment of boundaries,
(6). For the division of properties held iu partnership,

authorized uuder Head I X . (This applies to plans of
properties situated elsewhere than at the Head Quarter

STAMP DUTIES.
A proportional duty on ths nominal value is levied, in accordance with the subjoined
scale, on aU Promissory Notes, Orders for Payment, Delegations, BiUs of Exchange,
Acknowledgments of all kinds, Deposit Certificates, all Negociable Documents, aU Deeds
or Contracts embodying any undertaking, guarantee, partnership or other agreement and
stipulating any fixed sum,' and generally all deeds and titles other than those enumerated
in the Schedule of fixed Stamp Duties, in which some fixed consideration or amouut is
stipulated except Pohcies of Insurance.
