LAND (FALLOW) TAX.
If more than two thirds of any holding, capable of cultivation, has for more than
one year immediately preceding the 51st day of March in any year been left unculti–
vated and ttncropped, the holder shall, on the 31st of ilarch, be liable to pay a Fallow
Tax of Is. per donum for all such land left uncultivated and uucropped as shall exceed
tbe
proportion of two-thirds to the whole of the holding capable of cultivation.
