AUTHOBITT.
STAMP DUTIES.
A proportional duty on tlu nominal value is levied, in accordant-.* with th • subjoined
scale,
on all Promissory Notes, Orders for Payment, Delegations, Bills of Exchange,
Acknowledgments of all kinds. Deposit Certificates, all Negotiable Documents, all "Deeds
or Contracts embodying any undertaking, guarantee, partner-hip or oth*r agreement and
stipulating any fixed sum, Policies of Insurance, and gem-rally all deed* and titles other
than
those enumerated in the Schedule of fixed Stamp Duties, in which som;* fixed
consideration or amount is stipulated.
