LAND (FALLOW)' TAX.
If more than two thirds of any holding, capable of cultivation, has for more than
one year immediately preceding the 31st day of* March in any year been left unculti–
vated and uncropped, the holder shall, on the 31st of IIarch, be liable to pay a Fallow
T a x of Is. per donurn for all such land left uncultivated and uncropped as shall exceed
the proportion of two-thirds to the whole of the holding capable of cultivation.
