2.
For goods and works to
be
procured

natlonal competltive biddlng,

paragraphs 1.2 of the Gu1del1nes, the Borrower shall prepare and
forward to the Bank as soon as possible, and
ίη
any event not
Iater than 60 days prior to the date of availability to the
pubIic

the first tender or prequaliflcation documents relatlng
thereto, as the case may
be,
a general procurement notlce,
ίη
such form and detail and containing such information as the Bank
shaIl reasonably request; the Bank w111 arrange for the publica–
tlon of such notice

order to provide tlmely notification to
prospecti ve bldders of the opportunI ty to bid for the

and
works

question. The Borrower shall provide the necessary
information to update such notice annual1y so long as any goods

3. Bidders for civ11 ' works to

accordance with, and subject to, the following provlslons:
1.

information required to establish the eligibility

such preference and the following methods and stages that will be
followed

the evaluation and comparison of bids.
2.
After evaluation, responsive bids will

classlfied

one of the following three groups:
(1) Group
Α:
bids offering goods manufactured
ίη
the
Republic of Cyprus

the bidder shall have estab–
lished to the satlsfaction of the Borrower and the
Bank that the manufacturing cost

such goods
