Tenders.
Anyone interested in the purchase of this year's
crops of Sultana and Local White (Xinisteri) of the
Akhelia and Kouklia Chiftliks (Paphos) may
submit a tender to the President of the Tender
Board, Treasury, Nicosia, bv 10 a.m. on Saturday
the 18th June, 1960.
2. The estimated approximate production is 75
tons of Sultana, 50—60 tons of which are exportable,
and 5 tons of Local White (Xinisteri).
3. The offers should be per oke either for both
the exportable and non-exportable crops or for
either of them separately.
4. The picking shall be completed by the 31st
August and done by the Department of Agriculture
at its own cost and expense on such dates as would
be notified in ample time ahead by the approved
tenderer.
5. The delivery shall be made on the spot.
6. The crops may be inspected during working
hours.
7. The approved tenderer should furnish a
solvent guarantee.
8. The Government is not bound to accept the
highest or any tender.
9. Any further particulars required may be
obtained from the Director of Agriculture, Nicosia
-{telephone No. 4000/2255).

Tenders for the supply of timber ex-stock to the
Government Central Stores, Nicosia, should reach
the office of the President, Tender Board, Treasury
H.Qs., Nicosia, by 10 a.m. on Saturday the 25th
June, 1960.
2. Particulars of tender may be obtained from
the Acting Senior Stores Officer, Nicosia.

(Drawbar) with a Bucket of 1—\\ c.y. capacity to
Public Works Department should reach the office
of the Accountant-General not later than 10 a.m. on

of 9th June, 1960, is hereby cancelled.

Government Central Stores should reach the office

Tenders for the collection of salt for the Customs
and Excise Department should reach the Treasury
not later than 10 a.m on the 25th June, 1960.
Details will be supplied to tenderers on application
to the office of the Comptroller of Customs and
Excise, Famagusta, or the Collector of Customs and
Excise, Larnaca.
2. The successful tenderer will be required to
undertake to comply with the requirements, and
perform and observe the terms and conditions, laid
down in the Model Rules, published under Notifi–
cation No. 378 in the Gazette of the 4th May, 1950.

The attention of the public is invited to the
Notification made on the 12th December, 1958,
by His Excellency the Governor pursuant to the
Quarantine Law, Cap. 145, and published in
Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette of the 18th
December, 1958, whereby it was declared that

arid that all passengers and goods therefrom
would be subject to the measures prescribed by
the Quarantine (Maritime and Aerial) Regulations
1953 to 1958, with respect to the dangerous
