Legislation.
The following Law, enacted by His Excellency
the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony
of Cyprus, is published for general information
in Supplement No. 2, which forms part of this
Gazette :-—
No. 4 of i960.—A Law to establish for the
purposes of the Pensions Law the date of
Transfer of Sir Eric Hallinan from the office of
Chief Justice of Cyprus to the office of Chief
Justice of the West Indies.

412. Consular Appointments.
His Excellency the Governor directs it to be noti–
fied for general information that Mr. George
Moffitt has been accorded provisional recognition as
Consul for the United States of America in Cyprus.
With reference to Notification No. 1313 of 31st
December, 1959, His Excellency the Governor directs
it to be notified for general information that intima–
tion has been received from the Right Honourable
the Secretary of State for the Colonies that the
Queen's Exequatur empowering Mr. L. Douglas
Heck to act as Consul for the United States at
Nicosia received Her Majesty's signature on 15th
March, 1960.
