Tenders for the transport of havara including
loading and unloading to the under-mentioned
village roads on Famagusta District, for the Com–
missioner's Office, Famagusta, should reach the
Treasury Headquarters, Nicosia, not later than
10 a.m. on Saturday, 9th April, i960.
{a) 3,800 cu. yds. of havara from Yeroko-
lymbos locality ; Eptakomi to Ay. Theo-
doros-Galatia road.
(6) 2,000 cu. yds. of havara from Yeroko-
lymbos locality ; Eptakomi to Galatia-
Platanisso road.
2. Further particulars will be supplied to ten–

Tenders for \" chippings to Public Works De–
partment, should reach the office of the Accoun–
tant-General not later than 10 a.m. on Saturday
the 9th April, i960.
2. Particulars will be supplied to the tenderers
on application to the Director of Public Works.

Tenders are hereby invited for the supply of
one Vertical Crosstube Boiler, suitable for a
working pressure of 120 lbs. per sq. inch and
capable of an easy steaming of about 1,000 lbs.
of water to and from 212°F.
The Boiler should be complete with 6 feet
chimney, Cast iron Liner, Firedoor, Skirt Exten–
sion for fuel oil firing and all steam mountings: —
Steam Gauge, Spring loaded Safety Valve, Water
gauge Glasses with Protectors, Water Level Test
Cocks, Main Steam Stop Cock, Auxiliary Steam
Cock ii inches, Blow-off Cock, Check Valve.
Fusible plug to be fitted on Crown. Burner for
fuel oil, water injector, Firebars and Bearer are
not required and should not be supplied.
Spares : Six sets of Door Joints, 12 Gauge
Glasses with 24 Rubber Rings, should be
supplied.
Limitation : Bottom Angle iron ring on skirt ex–
tension should not exceed 4'—10" in dia–
meter.
2. Tenders with dimensions, full details of
construction to be submitted to the Acting Trea–
surer not later than 10 a.m. on Saturday, 23rd
April, i960 ; envelopes to be marked: Tender
for the supply of a Boiler for Dredger No. 1.

Tenders for the supply of 100 pairs of hard
wearing black shoes in various sizes, for the
Cyprus Fire Service, should reach the office of
the Accountant-General not later than 10 a.m. on
Saturday, 9th April, i960.
2. Particulars will be supplied to prospective
tenderers on application to the Chief Fire Officer,
Nicosia.

Tenders for the supply of 350 pairs of shoes
(scarpes) and 25 pairs of men's shoes for the
Mental Hospital, Medical Department, should
reach the Treasury not later than 10 a.m. on the
9th April, i960.
2. Details will be supplied to tenderers on
application to the Director of Medical Services.

The attention of the public is invited to the
Notification made on the 12th December, 1958,
by His Excellency the Governor pursuant to the
Quarantine Law, Cap. 145, and published in
Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette of the 18th
December, 1958, whereby it was declared that
the following local areas were infected local areas
and that all passengers and goods therefrom
would be subject to the measures prescribed by
the Quarantine (Maritime and Aerial) Regulations
