Tenders.
Tenders are invited for the transport of the
students of the Teachers' Training College,
Nicosia, to various towns and villages in Cyprus
with buses of 25—30 seats.
2. Tenders should be given per mile (for
asphalted or non-asphalted road) and reach the
office of the Accountant-General not later than
10 a.m. on Saturday the 26th March, i960.
3. Details will be supplied to tenderers on appli–
cation to the Principal, Teachers' Training
College, Nicosia.

Anyone wishing to undertake the transport
(loading and unloading excluded) of about 5,000
tons of cereal seed in sacks from various villages
to the stores of the ^ T-tment of Agriculture in
Nicosia and vice-vv-. during April—July and
September—December, 1060, may submit a
tender to the President of the Tender Board,
Treasury, Nicosia, by 10 a.m. on Saturday the
26th March, i960.
2. The offer must be per ton-mile for distances
of over 10 and up to 30 miles and over 30 miles,
respectively.
3. The approved tenderer must sign a contract
and furnish a solvent guarantee.
4. The Government is not bound to accept the
lowest or any tender.
5. Further particulars required may be obtained
from the Director of Agriculture, Nicosia (tele–
phone No. 4000/2255).

Anyone wishing to purchase all prime fattened
live pigs, mostly whites and crosses weighing
about 80 okes each, of the Pig Fattening Units
at Akhelia and Kouklia (Paphos) during the
period from 16th April up to and including 16th
July, i960, may submit a tender to the President
of the Tender Board, Treasury, Nicosia, by
10 a.m. on Saturday the 26th March, i960.
2. The offer must be per oke liveweight.
3. The deliveries must take place weekly on the
spot at the rate of 20 pigs on each delivery, the
first one commencing on the 16th April, and
payment effected immediately.
4. The animals may be inspected during
working hours.
5. The approved tenderer must sign a contract
and furnish a solvent guarantee.
6. Further particulars required may be obtained
from the Director of Agriculture, Nicosia (tele–
phone No. 4000/2255).
7. The Government is not bound to accept the
highest or any tender.

Tenders for the purchase of 1,536 fresh pine
trees estimated at 30,272 cu. ft. round under
bark, standing in Adelphi forest compartments
32, 33, 34 and 35 locality " Laghoudera bridge "
should reach the Tender Board, Treasury, Nicosia,.
not later than 10 a.m. on Saturday the 26th
March, i960.

The attention of the public is invited to the
Notification made on the 12th December, 1958,-
by His Excellency the Governor pursuant to the
Quarantine Law, Cap. 145, and published in
Supplement No. 3 to the Gazette of the i8tb>
December, 1958, whereby it was declared that
