For a duplicate licence in the event of loss or defacement of the original .. - 3 0
For the endorsement of a licence to enable a motor lorry carrying a mixed
load of passengers and goods to carry goods only and vice versa .. - 3 0
Licences are annual and expire at the end of the calendar year in which they are issued.
The fee payable for a licence issued in the course of any year is one-twelfth only of
the total fee specified above for every month or part of a month still to elapse before the
end of the year.
Persons in possession of a valid licence w h o intend to leave the Colony without
transferring the same are allowed a refund in full in respect of each complete quarter of
the year still to run.
EXEMPTIONS.
(a) Motor cars and motor cycles registered for demonstration purposes.
(6) A n y motor car belonging to the Governor or to the Government.
(c) Motor tractors.
(d) Motor cars used by any Municipal Corporation for watering or other sanitary
purposes within the Municipal limits over which such Municipal Corporation exercises
authority.
(e) Motor cars belonging to any person :who is the holder of a valid International
Certificate issued outside Cyprus under the International Convention relative to Motor
Traffic of the 24th April, 1926, or of a valid Fiscal Permit issued outside Cyprus under the
International Convention regarding the taxation offoreign vehicles of the 30th March, 1931.
(/) Motor cars imported by any visitor who is the holder of a valid Fiscal Permit issued
by the competent authority of the territory in which such motor car is registered.
