The above figures as regards capacity, weight and
length have been laid down by the Weights and
Measures Laws 1890 and 1930. Tbe donum ii,
however, computed at different sizes by the inhabitants
in different parts of the Colony, and nnder the
Interpretation L a w (No. 26 of 1935) it is reckoned
as " 1,600 square yards, according to the British
Imperial Standard."
