(a) Every ordinary postal packet not prepaid or insufficiently prepaid will be charged
onfdelivery with double postage or double the amount of deficiency; but that charge
shall not be less than _p.
(6) Every registered postal packet not prepaid or insufficiently prepaid will be charged
-on delivery with an amount equal to the deficient postage.

INSURANCE OF LETTERS AND BOXES.
Letters and boxes for Great Britain and Northern Ireland, certain British Possessions /
and Foreign Countries can be insured, subject to a limit of insured value and the I
Postal Insurance Regulations, 1925, at the Post Offices at Famagusta, Kyrenia, Larnaca J
Limassoi, Nicosia, Paphos, Pedhoulas, Platres and Troodos.

The maximum sum of insurance which may be effected is £120.

The fees payable on letters and boxes for countries to which the system of insurance
extends are as follows :—

The registration and insurance fees must be prepaid in addition to the full postaze
Compensation for the loss of an insured letter, or box, or its contents will not
exceed the amount of the actual loss and will in no case exceed the maximum sum
of insurance admitted by the country of destination.
