The limits of size are 3 ft. 6 in. in length and 6 ft. in length and girth combined.
FOREIGN.
Parcels are accepted for, and received from, all countries which have adopted the
Parcels Post system, at various rates of postage.
Direct parcel post mail? are exchanged between Cyprus and Great Britain
and Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Egypt, Cyprua and Italy, Cyprus and France and
Cyprus and Palestine.
The rates of postage on parcels addressed to Great Britain and Northern Ireland are:—
For a parcel not exceeding 3 ft. in weight
For a parcel exceeding 3ft.butnot exceeding 7 ft.
For a parcel exceeding 7ft.but not exceeding lift.
For a parcel exceeding lift, butnot exceeding 22 ft.
The limits of size are generally 3 ft. 6 in. in length and 6 ft. in length and girth combined.
The limit of weight is 22

RE-DIRECTION.
Parcew noe exceeding 11 ft in weight re-directed from one Post Office to another in v
Cvprus shall be liable to additional postage at the full inland rate for each re-direction.
Parcels exceeding 11 ft. bat not exceeding 22 ft in weight received from abroad and
re-directed from one address to another in Cyprus, except where the original and the second
address are both within the delivery are* of the same Post Office, shall be Liable to additional
postage as follows :—

RESPONSIBII_ITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE
The Postmaster-General shall not be liable to make good any claim arising oat of the loss,'
damage or delay of parcels sent by post.
A system of compensation for loss of or damage to uninsured parcels is in force between f
Cyprus, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Egypt and France. The maximum amoant of com-J
pensation payable is £1.
. CUSTOMS DECLARATION.
The sender of each parcel for abroad will be required to fill up a Customs Declaration
Form. Upon this form must be given an accurate statement of the contents and value, date
of posting, and the sender's signature and address.
; CUSTOMS" REGULATIONS.
Parcels on arrival in Cyprus will be liable to examination by an Officer of Customs,
who will assess the amount of Customs dues to be charged thereon. The Customs dues will be
collected at the time of delivery, and no parcel can be delivered until the Customs and all other
charges are paid.
Parcels found to contain forbidden articles and parcels, the contents and Value of which
have been falsely declared, may be dealt with according to tbe,laws on the subject. And
generally the senders of parcels, whether in Foreign Countries or Cyprus, will be -required to
conform to the Customs and other laws or regulations from time to time in force in respect of
such parcels.

Parcels which cannot be delivered, returned to the senders, or re-directed, and which have
thus become undeliverable. will eventually be returned to the countrv of orisrin.

Parcels becoming offensive or injurious to any Officer of the Post Office or other person, or v
to other parcels will be disposedof as the Postmaster-General may direct.

A fee of lcp. is charged by" the Post Office iu respect of each parcel delivered in Cyprus
