In matters regulated by the Rules of Court, 1927. and in matters
arising under the authority of clause 70 of the High Court of Justice
Law, 1879, the following fees are appointed to be taken in the Supreme
Court, in the several District Courts, in the Assistant District Judges'
Courts, in any office which is connected with any of those Courts and
by any officer attached to any of those Courts, in respect of the
several proceedings mentioned :—
O n sealing a writ of summons in an action :—
Wbere the a m o u n t claimed or the value of the matter in
dispute does not exceed £2
Where the a m o u n t claimed or the value of the matter in
dispute exceeds £2 but not £5
Where the a m o u n t claimed or the value of the matter in
<iisputc exceeds £5 but not £10
Where the a m o u n t claimed or the value of the matter in
dispute exceeds £10 but not £25
W h e r e the a m o u n t claimed or the value of the matter in
dispute exceeds £25 but not £50
Waere the a m o u n t claimed or the value of the matter in
dispute exceeds £50 but not £100
Where the a m o u n t claimed or the value of the matter in
dispute exceeds £100 but is under £300
W h e r e the a m o u n t claimed or the value of the matter in
dispute is £300 and over
O n application to re-enter any action for hearing w h e n it
hi-s been entered and struck out for default of appearance
and is not re-entered by leave of Court :—

(I) In consideration of the payment by the Municipal Corporations of Famagusta, Limassoi and Polis of £46, £46 and £10
per annum, respectively, all Court fees payable by them in respect of any legal proceedings instituted under the Municipal
Corporations Laws or any Bye-Laws made thereunder are remitted (Notifications Nos. 1338, 148 and 744 in Gazettes of 21st
December, 10:54. Sth February, 1935, and 3rd July, 1935, respectively).
(2) These art* the only fees chargeable in actions up to £25 (vide Rules cited).
