under Head II., shall be taken, in audition tu the above charges.
W h e r e the enquiry necessitates a visit to more than one village, the charge of Is. in respecc
of each village visited and 4k/;. for each parcel of property or assessment examined snail be levied.
W h e r e in - m y proceedings in Court a Local Enquiry is directed to be m a d e , or a n y
party in the action requests a n enquiry, the stun deposited in Court (which is to cover
the cost of m a k i n g the enquiry) or, where no s u m has been deposited in Court, the
charge hereinbefore appointed" shall be paid into the District Treasury to the credit
of E n q u i r y Reimbursements, w h e n , after the Enquiry, either party in the action, s u m m o n s
the Local Enquiry Clerk to give evidence before the Court, a deposit shall be m a d e
sufficient to cover the travelling expenses and loss of time of the Clerk attending the
Court. S u c h enquiries will ordinarily be m a d e b y the p e r m a n e n t Enquiry Clerk in d u e
course ; but, in special a n d urgent cases, a special officer m a y be e m p l o y e d on p a y m e n t
