FOREIGN.
Parcels are accepted for, and received from, all countries which have adopted the
Parcels Post system, at various rates of postage.
Direct parcel post mails are exchanged between Cyprus and Great Britain
and Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Egypt, Cyprus and Italy, Cyprus and France and
Cyprus and Palestine.
The rates of postage on parcels addressed to Great Britain and Northern Ireland are:—

For a parcel exceeding 3ft.but not exceeding 7 ft.
For a parcel exceeding 7ft.but not exceeding lift.
For a parcel exceeding 11ft.butnot exceeding 22 ft.
The limits of size are generally 3 ft. 6 in. in length and 6 ft. in length and girth combined.
The limit of weight is 22 ft.
RE-DIRECTION.
Parcels not exceeding 11 ft in weight re-directed from one Post Office to another in
Cyprua shall be liable to additional postage at the full inland rate for each re-direction.
Parcels exceeding 11 ft. but not exceeding 22 ft in weight received from abroad and
re-directed from one address to another in Cyprns. except where the original and the second
address are both within the delivery area of the same Post Office, shall be liable to additional
postage as follows:—

C U S T O M S D E C L A R A T I O N .
The sender of each parcel for abroad will he required co fill up a Cuscoms Declaration
Form. Upon this form muse be given an accurate statement of che concents and value, date
of posting, and the sender's signature and address.
CUSTOMS REGULATIONS.
Parcels on arrival in Cyprus will be liable to examination by an Officer of Customs,
who will assess the amount of Customs dues to be charged thereon. The Customs dues will be
collecced ac the cime of delivery, and no parcel can be delivered until the Customs and all other
charges are paid.
Parcels found to contain forbidden arcicles and parcels, the concencs and value of which
have been falsely declared, may be dealt wich according to the laws on the subject. And
generally the senders of parcels, whether in Foreign Countries or Cyprus, will be required to
conform zo the Customs and ocher laws or regulations fmm cime to "time in force in respect of
such parcels.
Parcels which cannoc be delivered, returned to the senders, or re-directed, and which have
thus become undeliverable, will eventually be returned to the country of oriein.
Parcels becoming offensive or injurious to any Officer of the Post Office or other person, or
to other parcels will be disposed of as che Postmaster-General may direct.
DUTY COLLECTION FEE.
A fee of lcp. is charged by the Post Office in respect of each parcel delivered in Cyprus
npon which Cnstoms duty has to be collected. - •
